Mobile Tyre Repair London — On-Site Puncture & Damage Repair

Damaged tyre? Don't risk driving on it. Our mobile repair technicians come to your location, assess the damage and repair or replace on the spot.

Our Mobile Tyre Repair Service

Not every tyre problem requires a full replacement. Many punctures and minor forms of tyre damage are entirely repairable — and a professional repair can safely extend the life of a tyre at a fraction of the cost of a new one.

TyreBlitz mobile tyre repair brings qualified technicians directly to your vehicle. We carry professional repair kits conforming to British Standard BS AU 159, which sets the benchmark for safe, industry-standard tyre repairs in the UK.

When we arrive, we'll remove the tyre, fully inspect it inside and out to determine whether it's safely repairable, carry out the repair using vulcanised patch technology, refit, re-balance, and have you back on the road — all without a garage visit.

If the tyre cannot be safely repaired, we'll tell you honestly and provide an immediate quote for a replacement. We carry a full stock of tyres in our vans, so you'll never be left stranded.

Why Repair vs Replace?

A properly repaired tyre is:

  • ✓ Fully safe when repaired to BS AU 159
  • ✓ Significantly cheaper than replacement
  • ✓ Environmentally responsible
  • ✓ Maintains your original tyre characteristics
  • ✓ Fast — back on the road in under an hour
  • ✓ Passes MOT and is road legal

We only ever recommend a repair when it is genuinely safe to do so. Your safety is non-negotiable.

What's Repairable — And What Isn't

Not all tyre damage can be safely repaired. UK industry standards (BS AU 159) are clear about what constitutes a safe repair. Here's a straightforward guide:

✅ Repairable

Safe to Repair

  • Nail or screw puncture in central tread area
  • Damage no larger than 6mm diameter
  • No damage to sidewall or shoulders
  • Tyre has not been driven flat
  • Tread depth above 1.6mm (legal minimum)
  • No internal structural damage
  • Clean puncture with no internal cracking
❌ Not Repairable

Requires Replacement

  • Sidewall puncture or cut
  • Shoulder area damage
  • Damage larger than 6mm
  • Driven on while flat (internal damage)
  • Multiple punctures in proximity
  • Tread below 1.6mm
  • Visible structural deformity or bulge
  • Run-flat tyres (generally)
⚠️ Needs Inspection

We Need to Assess

  • Slow punctures (cause not confirmed)
  • Damage near tread/shoulder boundary
  • Damage 4–6mm in diameter
  • Multiple nails (if well-spaced)
  • Valve stem leaks
  • Bead seal issues

⚠️ Never Use Foam Tyre Sealants

Temporary foam sealants (like Tyreweld) can make a tyre undetectably dangerous and contaminate it in ways that prevent a proper repair. Always tell us if a sealant has been used — we'll inspect and advise. In many cases, a sealant-contaminated tyre cannot be repaired and must be replaced.

Our Repair Process — Step by Step

Every TyreBlitz repair follows a strict process to ensure safety and quality:

1

Arrival & Assessment

We arrive at your location, lift the vehicle safely, and remove the affected tyre for full inspection.

2

Internal Inspection

The tyre is dismounted from the wheel and inspected internally for hidden damage, cracking, or structural compromise.

3

Repair Decision

We confirm whether the repair is safe. If not, we quote for replacement immediately — no pressure.

4

Vulcanised Patch

We apply a BS AU 159-compliant vulcanised combination patch, bonded under heat and pressure for a permanent, airtight seal.

5

Refit & Balance

The repaired tyre is remounted, inflated to correct pressure, and balanced on our portable wheel balancer.

6

Final Check

Tyre pressure confirmed, torque settings checked, and you're signed off safe to drive — typically within 45 minutes.
